Support Project Manager and Senior Engineer with day to day running of Project. Document Control. Maintaining QA systems on site. Site Inductions and Employee Registers. Material Requisitions. Managing Technical / Sample submissions. Setting Out Ensure all Drawings, Specifications, Schedules etc., received in hard or soft copy are uploaded and tagged to the appropriate Project / Document Pools in Workspace. Resolve any discrepancies. Carry out an existing Level Survey and mark up on an appropriate Drawing; copy same to the Project Manager / Quantity Surveyor. Up load to Workspace Record Drawings section including on-going surveys as required e.g. rock formation levels / dig formation levels etc. Establish setting out stations / points and check new building position in relation to site boundaries and interface / tie in with existing buildings if applicable. Coordinate / forward survey to the Design Team and obtain written confirmation that setting out has been agreed. Alternatively liaise with the Project Manager and confirm that the Design Team Meeting Minutes contains an item confirming that setting out has been agreed. Provide information, Method Statements, instructions, sketches, datum’s and lines etc. to enable the works to be built correctly. Analyse the Design Team Specifications and complete Inspection and Test Schedule i.e. itemise materials to be tested – concrete, grout cubes, blocks, aggregate etc. Coordinate with M&E Coordinator, Design Team and relevant Subcontractors re Builders Works Drawings and ensure all inserts, box outs, pipe penetrations, puddle flanges, fire collars etc., are incorporated in the concrete pour / built into blockwork / brickwork. Manage Site Safety, implement the site rule and fully coordinate with the safety department. Liaise and take instruction from the Project Manager. Oversee the site set up encompassing layout, staff accommodation, welfare facilities, storage, access and monitor on a day to day basis. Maintain a constant drive to achieve production outputs in order to meet targets. Health & Safety Management – Contribute towards a culture of health & Safety onsite. Quality Control / Standards – Ensure project standards and quality are achieved through monitoring quality output of work team and taking appropriate corrective action where necessary. Environmental Standards – Coordinate with the Environmental Manager, Project Manager to ensure environmental standards are achieved through Waste Management Implementation. Project Delivery – Contribute to the delivery of project on time and within budget through. Monitoring performance and re-assessing efficiency, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary assessing activities, ensuring balance between cost and production to meet objectives and time constrictions. Understanding contractual obligations of Company and Subcontractors Contracts obligations are met. Detailed Site Diary – Maintain a detailed site diary which must be filled out each day.  Ensure that the Diary is signed and captures all relevant information including: weather conditions, labour resources, subcontractor resources, change orders / instructions, delays, visitors to site, safety incidents, Environmental issues, Construction Progress.  Requirements 5-10 years experience in a similar role. Experience in a trade is an advantage. Experience with a main contractor essential.
