Vacancy: General Foreman - Residential - Bespoke Developer 

Location: South Dublin

Salary: €65K - €70K + package (DOE)

 

Our Client is a well established developer with a reputation for delivering top quality homes through-out the South of Dublin city. They have been developing homes since the early 90’s and due to recently expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to be based in the South Dublin area.

 

The successful candidate will be undertaking the construction of apartments and family homes over a semi basement, working under a PM the General Foreman will be responsible for the projects from groundworks to handover. The successful candidate will be experienced in working within main contractors or developers undertaking residential developments at a least a 5 yr period.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • The construction of a residential scheme from greenfield through to completion
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Management of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the design team and other stakeholders
  • Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials, completing the online daily site diary and relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy
  • Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
  • Ensure all employees and site visitors comply with all Health and Safety obligations

Requirements:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • 5+ years’ site management experience on residential projects
  • Proven record of seen projects through from greenfield to completion
  • Background in residential developments essential
  • Experienced of managing multiple residential contracts
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
