Job Description

What is required 

Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are seeking applications for the position of an Experienced BIM/Revit Design Engineers for projects based in Leinster. Our client is one of Irelands leading Main Contractors with a long history of completing projects to the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Modelling of Mechanical Building Services (HVAC and Pipework) using Revit MEP
  • Working and coordinating with 3rd party services contractors
  • Some clash detection exercises in 3D models will be required
  • Positions available on large scale commercial, industrial, pharma and data centre projects

What you need to have

  • Third level qualification in Engineering / Architecture / Design or a technical background essential
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in BIM/Revit modelling essential, ideally in a contracting environment
  • Experience in M&E services coordination essential
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential
  • Proven ability to problem solve and resolve coordination issues
  • Excellent IT skills - AutoCAD, Solid works, Revit, MS Excel etc.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
