Project Manager - Built Environment

What is required?

At BSS we are looking for a Project Manager, to work with one of our clients, a leading Main Contractor for work on projects based in the Midlands.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring projects are completed to cost, programme, quality and safety standards.
  • Able to manager numerous ongoing projects
  • Liaise with company director, raising RFI’s, reviewing and assembling Technical Submissions, etc.
  • Organising the various professional people working on a project/Project Scheduling
  • Project Quality control
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing to ensure the project is on budget

What you need to have?

  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years’ experience working as a Project Manager in the construction industry
  • Must be commercially aware
  • Must be able to manage a large team and numerous projects of different sizes
  • Ensure that the project progresses on schedule
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
