Role – Site Foreman

Reporting to – Contracts Manager

Contract Type – Permanent Full time

Location – Gorey Co Wexford

 

About the role

Philip Loughran Construction Ltd is a leading Residential Developer is currently recruiting an experienced Site Foreman. Reporting to our Contracts Manager, you will manage the day to day operations of this site.

 

Due to the opening of new sites we are in need of a Site Foreman, please send an application now for immediate consideration, start date late October 18.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Overseeing the construction of a residential scheme from greenfield through to completion
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Management of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the design team and other stakeholders
  • Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials, completing the online daily site diary and relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy
  • Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
  • Ensure all employees and site visitors comply with all Health and Safety obligations.

 

Requirements: 

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • 5+ years’ site management experience on residential projects
  • Background in residential developments essential
  • Must have completed CIF PSCS course
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
