Job Description

Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are seeking applications for the position of Purchasing Officer for a role based in Cavan . Our client is a fast growing Residential and Commercial Build contractor based in the Cavan area.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the Purchase Order process
  • Manage the search process for local suppliers of services, utilities, machinery and equipment
  • Develop creative solutions for cost reduction and continuous improvement of purchasing processes and procedures
  • Ensure inventories are sufficient for future projects and maintained in line with company policy

What you need to have

  • Previous Purchasing experience in the Construction (or related) industry essential
  • 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Track record of achievement
