Job Description

Holbein Carpentry & Joinery is a family-run business, who produce top quality bespoke products. Currently Holbein Carpentry are at the initial stage of implementing an ERP system. Functionality of this system will include collection of client information, generating quotations, stock control & project tracking. We wish to add an administrator to our team for the continuous upkeep of this system along with assisting in the day to day running of the business. This is a superb opportunity for a motivated candidate to join a dynamic workforce, which is at the forefront of quality joinery. This is envisioned as a long-term position.

Location

Kenmare, Co. Kerry. The role will have some possibility for remote work, and some flexibility in working hours.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand company ERP system
  • Utilise and comprehend technical drawings
  • Product research
  • Product purchasing and general stock control
  • Generation of quotations and communication with customers, aided by strategic questionnaires
  • Continual development of strategic client questionnaires
  • Maintain good communication between the client & HCJ
  • Other general administrative tasks as required, such as:
    • Regular maintenance of and adherence to industry regulation standards
    • Maintain health and safety certification
    • Create and develop SOPs for office and manufacturing operations

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • High-level of computer efficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, phone manner, and fluency in English
  • Able to grasp new concepts quickly, particularly in relation to numerical data
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to switch between tasks depending on priority
  • Strong time management skills with ability to work on own initiative

Preferred Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge of technical drawing; if no previous experience working with technical drawing, a strong numerical ability is required
  • Previous knowledge of Web design and Photoshop
  • Previous experience in pricing projects
  • Previous experience with ordering stock
  • Understanding of lean principles
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
